These coral bowls are made of many hand cut pieces of glass assembled to reflect nature. The first time in the kiln the pieces are fused together, the second and final firing the glass will be shaped over a mold. Each firing will take about 12 hours in the kiln.
The design will compliment any style modern, boho or beach house decor.
Use the bowls to serve fruit or even display small items in your bathroom.
No bowl is like the other, the item you receive will be one of a kind.
Size is about 14 cm x 5 cm
It is my mission to create useful and unique dishes and bowls. Working with art glass is very rewarding by picking out color combinations that compliment each other. Each piece is cut by hand and carefully placed in the kiln to get fused together. The second time in the kiln the piece of glass gets shaped over a mold.
I also like to recreate recycled bottled glass into functional art. There are plenty of empty bottles around. It is rewarding to give new life to the old bottles by making them into cutting boards, candle holder or even plates and bowels.

My greatest love is for the Sea. The ocean, the coral reefs, the sea creatures - these are my inspiration when I create with glass. I'm fascinated with the glass melting process.
I participated in a Glass Fusion seminar. A while after that, I became the proud owner of my very first kiln. To learn, experiment, and improve is my never-ending goal. For that reason, each piece is unique; a reflection of my experience and ability at the time of creation. I will always be a student. In drawing inspiration from the Sea, I hope my designs are simple, beautiful, and above all else - functional. I hope you enjoy using my glass creations as much as I enjoy making them!- Vera
